[ This is Rachel Berry you guys. And she looks very professional. Well, as professional as you can seem in an owl sweater, a school girl skirt and knee socks. ]

Where I'm from, only the men are allowed to sing in the choirs.

Why?

I'm not sure. It was just custom.

[a pause] Not that I can really sing.

Sometimes singing together creates the most beautiful of songs. Where I come from there are groups of only boys or only girls. But I think New Directions is unique since we are all so different.

Of course, as expected of someone of my talents performing for the island.

[ Ugh rolling her eyes because really, she hears these kinds of questions about three hundred times a day, ]

A person who cannot recognized his own talents and owe to them is wasting his time. If I am to win 3 Tony awards by the time I am 27, I have no time to try and deny my own gift. I don't expect you to understand, seeing you don't have any musical knowledge that goes past the 80s.

[ guess who she talked to, Dean, really no, take a wild guess. ]

It's not important.

[AKA not important because it's not monster hunting and she doesn't know what it is.]

It's the most important thing. Art is what sets us apart from a society of enlightened people to a bunch of hooligans. Like the football team! Glee club members in it not included.

Are you starting an army of singers? How many do you have so far?

andagoldstar November 13 2011, 08:29:01 UTC
More a show choir than an army -- I only now started asking people. I hope there are people here with some amount of talent.
