Oooh! Brilliant! A handheld video recording device? Oh, and let's see here, yes! Connected to likely identical devices that-- Oh, now this is clever

Tonks, lovely name. Reminds me a bit of this little place I once knew that --
[He talks for a good two minutes straight, describing something called molten grass and flying dogs. His head bobs to and fro and really, it's all right if you zone him out. Probably for the best.]
Well, as I was saying-- Or was I? As I'm saying now, I'd love very much for you to virtually point me in the right direction. Take me to your leader. Ohh! I've always wanted to say that!
Anatole? Oh, that's the name of this place. An-a-tol-e. Lovely. And yes, I was afraid of that. Tracking it down is going to be time consuming. Oh, I'm going to be really very annoyed at these Twins blokes if I don't get back before it's all over!

["Time Lord," you say? That sounds rather uncomfortably close to how Elfangor views the Ellimist. But you seem far friendlier than him. Still, better be safe and take this to a private channel. Wouldn't want just anyone to stumble across discussion about a certain reality-bending device.
Almost as an afterthought, he morphs to his Andalite form before responding, curious as to how this person might react to a clearly non-humanoid being.]
< What is this, TARDIS? Is it anything like a Time Matrix? >

[All right, not a Yeerk then, whatever else he may be.
But what he says is... rather unsettling. Is he, perhaps, another like the Ellimist? There were legends, of course, that there had been many of them long ago, before they all disappeared from the universe, the Time Matrix vanishing along with them.
Even if Elfangor had had the curious fortune of running across the blasted device.
And this war--could it be the same one that the Ellimist had spoken of? Against one even older than he?
The more he considers this, the more he becomes convinced that Ellimist and Time Lord are synonymous titles for the same class of beings. Perhaps even same species.
Which means it would really be in his best interests not to divulge that he knows exactly where the Time Matrix is.]
< Ah... my apologies. We must be thinking of entirely different devices. I do not know the technology by which people are brought here, but it may interest you to know that it seems to have a reach beyond death. >

[See the Doctor twitch, and it's with excitement and fear all at once. His face nudges even closer to the screen, distorting his appearance in a humourous way that extends to his hair.]

[Ax is not sure what to make of this human, or of his apparent enthusiasm for a primitive network of devices.]
I do not know ex, exactly what that is, but it sound-zuh like someone who would not be allowed here.

Bee-caw, because I am reasonably, lee, certain that Anatole has some sort of system, sis-teh-muh, in place to safeguard against time distortion.

Well, the Matrix was destroyed in the war, obviously.

Reached beyond death? Are you certain?
[No one should have that power!]
