The elves and boars are battling it out on the edge of the Mist. Some boars falling from multiple spear thrusts, but many more elves falling to the hooves and tusks of the boars. There must be several dozen of both sides and slowly the boars are gaining ground.] ( Read more... )

I'm trying to stop that from happening to anyone else.

But I can't do everything. They have to fight for themselves too.

[Yes, Ax is still maintaining the body that gives him a sharp tail. It is only prudent, really.]

Hehe. I interfere all the time! Meddling is my middle name~!

But I'm not omnipresent. It's not my job to make sure no one ever gets hurt ever.

I still do what I can to help out people I like. Like the grass. It's all still there you know, whenever you want a taste.

< I did not doubt you about the grass before. ...thank you. >

He snorts, which may or may not be inappropriate, given the circumstance. ]

I'm living here so it makes it my town in a way. I don't want to see the whole place covered in blood. It would ruin the ambiance.

Why, thank you! I do try to keep things interesting.

And the ambiance alone, I'm sure. I suppose I should be thankful, for your supposed town pride.

[ A nod. ]

While it is far from the work of a sword... it certainly is effective, in its own right.

[ SUPER EFFECTIVE. ]

I wouldn't want to live in a lonely dump. Which this place would be if the populace was killed off. Boring. There's only so many centuries you can spend entertaining yourself in a bubble. And there's no way out.

I only break out the sword for beings that might actually be capable of doing me in. And these elf things are not that impressive, no matter their numbers.
