...something that I can only call a 'giant amphibion monster'. A two hundred foot tall sentient plant. Lunatics armed with farming implements, chainsaws, war flails, and crossbows. Something that looked like a troll. Human-sized bugs that can somehow turn invisible. Regenerators.
