Well, it seems like the Door's brought in a new bunch of people. I think I've talked to at least a few of you, and to the rest, welcome to the shithole known as Anatole. [He cringes at the rhyme he accidentally made.]

As for the rest of us, has anyone managed to find out anything new about this place?

[He laughs a little, nice rhyme there, stranger.]

Is there any kind of laboratory here that is accessible to us?

[But you're nicer that way ;A;]

I was thinking we could try to get a sample of some sort. If there were someone skilled at analyzing compounds, then perhaps we could learn just what this 'mist' is.

[A particular alchemist comes to mind, but he hasn't heard from him on the network in a while.]

The mist is...

If you can handle the hallucinations and the nightmares, it's not very dangerous in itself unless you go very far in.

The problem is more the monsters, which will kill you if you're distracted. Which the mist is very good at doing.

That's a thought. But somehow, I don't think simple laboratory equipment will be able to identify something more than water vapour.

That's why I was asking about if anyone had any specialized skills in that area.
