I wish the children here would be a little less malicious. In a way, it's not surprising: there has always been cruelty in children. Still, it doesn't seem too much to ask that they not toss projectiles around.

Theoretically, the best way to educate them would be to for us to prove how peaceful and friendly we all are. Of course, each of us would have to be peaceful and friendly in the first place. If it hasn't happened before, I doubt it'll happen now, after these little incidents.

I guess the next idea is to at least prove that we aren't all dangerous, so at least they may begin to question their initial assumptions.

Children can be far crueler than adults. I didn't think anything could be more obnoxious than the birds, but the local brats have proven me wrong.
And that's certainly some sound advice.
