Los Angeles was pretty amazing. I definitely want to move there. My internship was fantastic and two of my fellow interns and I will be working for the company we interned with.

I lost 30 lbs since May. I want to lose another 40.

I'm back in Southern Illinois now. The drive back was hell, but I drove through a state I'd never been to before,

I can't get over how great the weather is here in LA. I didn't remember that from the last time I was here. Granted the last time I was here was when I was 7 and weather probably wasn't my highest priority.

Okay, my mind is made up. I need to get in shape for my summer in the city of angels. I have my work cut out for me, but I am determined. Cutting back on carbs, walking 2-3 miles a day (up and down steep hills-not fun) and hitting the gym for sustained workouts. It'll work.

My mom died yesterday morning. I still can't believe it. I miss her so much.

My hard drive decided to commit suicide 2 Saturdays ago. I now have a laptop. I like it, but it does take some getting used to.

Well, I'm on my way to Palm Coast, Florida to spend Christmas with family. You all have a safe and merry Christmas and a happy Hanukkah.

Something I forgot to post: My ankle/foot is shot. I have no cartilage. I'll need surgery when the pain becomes unbearable. It's a pretty big deal involving screws and a a very long recovery period. I guess Infantry and Airborne weren't the best choices 18 years ago.

School is going rather well. I am pretty sure that I have As in both my classes, Film Analysis and History, and Visual Media. I enjoy both of them.

The only downer is that I'll need to get a job soon.

2 more days and I will be free of this job. I won't have to listen to the pleas of people who need my help to avoid going to jail so they won't lose their jobs, home or kids. It won't be my concern anymore. I'll be free. At long last, free. I cannot wait.

I gave my 30 days notice to my boss last week. I also told my coworkers that I don't want a party.I'll tell the full story soon.
