With a new fandom, comes a new vidding muse! I could be wrong, but this may be the first truly gen video I've made for a show? Don't quote me on that though...

When I was marathoning this series a couple of weeks ago, one of the things that I really loved was how the curse was both destructive AND redemptive. So I really wanted to show the angst (

Aw, thanks. In fairness, OUAT really has some beautiful shots. There were so many I wanted to include but I just didn't have enough spots.

That was gorgeous! I stopped watching this show in early season 1 because I just couldn't connect to any of the characters but I love your vids and Ingrid Michaelson is fabulous so I had to watch! And as I said = GORGEOUS.

Me too, actually. I think I stopped watching around the time they killed off Graham? *admitting to shallowness* I just started watching again when I saw Captain Hook. I think the show got better, because I remember having that problem early on as well. I didn't like Henry or Emma, for that matter. Snow & Charming's flashbacks really helped me connect better with the show...so the more I saw of them pre-curse, the more invested I became. Also, the sad Regina back-story.

Ditto to all of these comments. :) Gorgeous and Beautiful and Lovely!! I'm glad you used some of the stuff from Season 2. This last episode with Regina and Daniel was heart-breaking. I'm in awe of Lana Parilla. She's a tremendously talented actress. Both her and Carlysle steal/make the show for me. :) But yeah, we were talking about your vid. ;) I also liked the Jefferson-Grace bits (that guy also has an interesting story, evidenced by 2x05 as well.) :) And you put the minor characters in too, like Hansel and Gretyl, Jiminy, Catherine, Grumpy and his fairy. That was sweet. :) Really, I loved every bit of this vid. I hope you make more some time. :D

Well, I HAD to use the Jefferson/Grace scene because *happy sigh* The Regina stuff was a nice bonus because I had been struggling to include her up until that point. She does heartbreak very well - when she begged David/Charming to not shoot Daniel? *heart dies*

Part of the reason why I rarely make gen videos is because I'm super serious about including everyone. SG-1 was always a struggle in that way, because while I had preferences, I refused to leave out people like Jonas and Landry (which a lot of vidders did). So it's almost harder for me to make these types of vids because I want to represent everyone

I should be! I attempted a Red/Hook video today...it may or may not get finished after the next few videos. I really want to make a Snow/Charming one, or even a Hook one in general (aside from the trailer I made).

Ooh, Red and Hook could be a nice pairing. I admit I'd rather see Emma with August than with Hook, though I suppose she could help redeem Hook, but no, I miss August.

I understand the need to include everybody, and I think you do a good job with that. :) Honestly, I'll watch any vid you put together. ;) You're that good!

Honestly, I would too. Emma/August was one of the things I really loved about S1. I'm really hoping he pops back up when she returns to Storybrooke, because we need all of that business addressed!!

Well, everyone is a part of the show - even the characters I don't like - so you can't do it justice without representing all of that.
