[Though it isn't at all unusual to see the beautiful doctor's face over Somarium's network, there is one difference to the sight that may catch the notice of the city's more perceptive and sharp residents. There appears to have been a slight change to her name since last she was seen on the broadcast:

[Although it'd take a bulldozer to get him in a lab unless it was a matter of life and death - and even there's room for consideration - that she needs help at all causes Sephiroth to quirk an eyebrow.]

[If he needs any confirmation, the woman's calm expression should be reassuring enough.] I'm just afraid that my time is going to be divided this week and it would be nice to have someone keep up with my appointments in the lab.

Ahhh, I see. While I'm glad there's no impending crisis, I'm afraid I wouldn't be much use to you in that regard.

[Considering all of the negative things people have to say about Javert, it's a sweet relief to hear something positive. Naomi beams towards her patient/friend. The line seems so crossed nowadays.]

[Well, Sephiroth doesn't know Javert that well, but he's never given the General any trouble, and besides, Naomi's a grown woman; she should know what she wants. And Sephiroth trusts her to make up her own mind. Be damned what others think.]

I find it inspiring, actually. Given the nature of this world, that there are those who wish to simply live their lives. Many seem to be hung up on the notion of "returning home", and seem content to waste the opportunities presented here.

[A sage nod.] But then again, I suppose there are those of us with nothing left to return to. ...nevertheless, I am happy for you both.

[Though a social creature by nature, Naomi has long since learned that other people's opinions mean very little to her. Especially since the majority of the population is both unintelligent and a general unproductive waste of space. A casual browse through the network reveals that simple fact more often than not.

Sephiroth is, of course, an exception to that.]

Thank you again. After so long in this city together, I don't believe there is any chance of either of us disappearing, so it didn't sound like such a bad idea to make things legal finally.
