Swift Cantrell Skate Park

I received an email from a TGrey this afternoon regarding a charity event called “The Grind” which is attempting to raise money for a new skate park in Kennesaw, Georgia. Upon reading the website I noticed that the planned, and approved, location for the park is within the Swift Cantrell Park which is absolutely amazing. The charity event is

There are quite a few public skateparks in Georgia, though none are very close. I think the closest is at least 30 miles. There *used* to be one not too far from your area, but it closed a couple of years back. There is a nice one up here, too...

You should come visit sometime. There is a lot of inspiration for photography around here.

Thanks for the bump. I must say, I went down and looked at the boards for the show opening... some of these are completely awesome, the pics just don't do them justice.

I wish the public skate park was built ~15 years ago... I would have loved to have the opportunity to skate something like that. :)
