I propose that two new laws be enacted around the world: that those who demand non-standard
citation styles be required to provide
- a justification for deviating from well-known, well-established, well-understood, sensible standards; and
- a biblatex style implementing said style.

I used Word from the Dos 1.0 version, and they could have done so much more with it like stealing Word Perfect's Reveal Codes feature so you could actually repair documents rather than blindly trying to find where hidden characters were causing problems.
I keep a copy of Office 2003(?), the last version before their never-sufficiently-cursed ribbon menus ruined anything resembling productivity for me in Office. Before then I did almost nothing with the mouse and everything through Alt menu engagement.
(I really should spend time learning Tex and Emacs)
