Not sure why you're posting to Denglish... as Clemenceau is French... but that said, it would be Clem-en-sew (like the verb "sew", rhyming with row).

Pardon my French but if this is French, shouldn't it be Clom-on-soo?

I think the word is anglicize so it should be Cle-men-soo (-eau is usually pronounced as -oo). But everyone pronounces it as Clem-men-ciu so I'm with everyone.

Nein, leider nicht. Bin einfach Deutschlehrerin in der USA, die nur von einem fantastischen Leben in der deutschen Hauptstadt träumen kann. Ich hab aber viel Zeit in Berlin verbracht...
