Wonderful story. I love the quiet, peaceful dynamic between them, the way they seem so comfortable with each other, in each other's spaces, the coffee and the starling and the contact on the couch. And Mac, yes, kind of hanging out there unspoken, but for all that it separates them, it unites them too, this connection they've both shared making for a common bond between them. Really, just a lovely story. Thank you for sharing it.
