It reminded me of Wuthering Heights, except that I have yet to find a single redeeming quality in that book (excluding Edgar Linton, whom I love) and I quite enjoyed this. Helena is more Cathy than the Baron is Heathcliff but ah, how nice.

I don't know what you were saying about its being awful because it was not and you know it.

Although stories where nobody wins make me sad.

The death scene is. =/ I only have Lily's down to an art or something. Others? Not so much.

Good. I can't really say I like it, so unless I have some sort of epiphany of love during the last eighty pages I don't think it'll be making my favorite books list. :-\
(I think he's a sweetheart, especially to ((little)) Cathy. Him/((older))Cathy is dreadful though.)

It is not. I do not think I collapsed dead on my keyboard so it's at least not AWFUL. I think it was actually GOOD, though. (and haha, I suck at ALL death scenes. I'm like, "So, Sirius? He got hit with this curse, and he didn't really mind, but it knocked him backwards and he fell through the Veil and er. And then he died. -awkward shuffling-" I am dreadful at writing anything serious.)

It's okay. I do love a good bit of melancholy.

I've only studied and analyzed and thought about Lily's death more times than most people would think was sane. xD I know basically every little part of that scene.
(They're such cute parents. ^^)
