Greetings! It's my first time posting here as I kind of dropped out of using LJ since my son was born last year, but I"m trying to get back to it ( Read more... )

I find myself taking my daughter to her first Lillies this summer. She is very much so the child who reacts poorly to bites and stings, invariably scratching til she bleeds, or swelling etc. I am pondering her garb.

Would you think pants, that have a gathered ankle, or tights, would be better under her dresses? The child is nine now.

Yesterday I found my youngest, a four year old, in his room with a two and a half foot long piece of spare 1x2 and duct tape. He was trying to make a sword like his Daddy's.

I think I'll definitely have another heavy fighter in the house before long.
