Repeated the two Chen Taiji sword forms I am learning -- straightsword and broadsword. Also went through Chen Long form and Chen Cannon Fist empty hand forms. It's been a long time since we last went through Cannon Fist; wow, it was messy this time.

Wow! 8 hours! I don't think I've ever written that long in one day. Not even during NaNoWriMo. Sounds like you are making some good forward progress. My short fiction writing has been good recently, but my novel is gathering dust. :P BTW, my website is back up. Have no clue why it was down.

Well, it wasn't 8 hours solid. Don't be too impressed. I got up and walked around a lot. Also, I left an hour for lunch. I was very distracted.

The longest I've written, solid, is 12 hours. When I was between jobs, I did the whole Novel-In-A-Week thing just to prove to myself I could write something that long. It really took 10 days, but I did manage to hit 80,000 words. Of course that whole book is crap, but that's to be expected ;) I do recommend the experience, though. I swear it made me write faster overall.

If you try it, though, don't expect what you write to be salvagable.
