Hope google got it right Yes , that's right.
So sad I know- I promise next time it won't be .
The whole imagery isn't so bleak but the end has a sorrowful tone, truly.

Beautiful - tu as vraiment l'ame d'un poète! Le rencontre de l'eau et le feu me plait beaucoup - se sont nos amis!

J'ai essayé, mais c'est plutot difficile traduire de la poésie!

Beautiful - tu as vraiment l'ame d'un poète! Thank you so much.:) I love exploring Spike's despair, it's part of his journey with Buffy . The poetic touch helps , in fact.

noyé de lassitude et d’ombres

Yep. That there's depression. Even if he is glorying in her presence for a moment, he can't luxuriate in it for long; he's far too realistic about the true relationship. Ouch.

Beautiful imagery .
"Que reste-t-il de son cœur, cette barque désarmée et rongée , loin de tous les climats ?" You broke my heart.

It's poetic and powerful and feels like a harrow in my flesh.

Thank you so much for sharing,Caroline
