Veronica was surprised that Sarah knew that. "Yep. She's very smart. My go-to girl when I need any kind of tech stuff."

Sarah had a good memory for that kind of thing; it was useful when a supercomputer in your brain wasn't an option.

"If she sticks around for the summer, you might want to feel her out on how she feels about government work," Sarah suggested. "See what she says."
