The cursor flashes on the screen like a yellow traffic light before it turns red.  
We can't bare to let the cursor flash any longer, we're always in a rush to write anything down, even if it doesn't make sense.
And we're constantly waiting near the edge of the road, ready to place our foot foward, when the flashing hand turns to the walking sign.
