Sometimes Christians absolutely baffle me.

There's this big controversey going around about The Golden Compass movie and the book its based on.

I've actually read the book, and its quite good.

Yeah, they kill God. Big deal. He's doing things to hurt humanity and Earth. If "it" were by any other name you probably would too.

God is a notion that society created so that humans dont behave like animals, so that they fear something after death, so that they have something to look forward to after life -- however this theory really has outlasted its purpose since the killing in the name of God has far outnumbered the lives it probably saves.
