Yes, this is a great triumph for the people of Northern Ireland. When I read about this today, I knew that it would be a source of rejoicing for you. It makes me reflect on the many courageous people who struggled and sacrificed to bring about this day: the republican women you wrote about so eloquently and those women who personally told you their stories. Women were an important force in bringing this day to realization and I hope that their names are remembered.
