So I see that a lot of my flist is not leaving LJ, YAY! but I was just reading stir_of_echoes post and LJ is not tolerating incest stories. Well I think we can all agree that is half of this fandom, so I'm asking what is a good idea for a writer to do with those stories already written

I'm thinking of copying my stories over to JournalFen for right now and then working on getting a website going.

That's what I was thinking to, cause I've seen the links to all those other journal sites and that JournalFen seems to be the most popular. Do you think we should do that, that its a good idea?

Cause I don't want to loose my LJ, or my right to have one but I don't want to make a big deal of something but I think this getting out of hand.

I do think it's a good idea to have a backup. I'm not worried about being targeted for removal at this point, as I only have one story with any kind of incest/underage, and the underage part of it is not at all explicit and I think clearly not portrayed as a good/sexualized thing. But I may take the step of hosting all my NC-17 stories only off-LJ, with links to them and leaving the comments be.

When it comes down to it, I can't entirely blame LJ for their actions (though I do blame them for their tragically bad communication skills), and I don't want to lose my LJ.

I was just over at journalfen.net and its not allowing me to creat a journal right now, but if we know a paid user they can request a journal for someone. *shrug*

I guess it wouldn't really matter if I locked the stories because its Livejournal and they can see anything anyway, right?

No worries, definitely not leaving, I got a JournalFen and I'll be putting all my NC-17 stories over there. Just haven't done it yet. Not leaving LJ until the day comes I'm kicked out. LOL.
