...positive side of yesterdays (somewhat) bad news, I also got a $50 cheque in the mail from my band. It's already deposited.

...last week and a half or so, I've been reading the available books in George R. R. Martin's fantasy series "A Song Of Ice And Fire". Right now, that means 5 books so far. Usually, I don't read a book series until it's "complete", when there are no more books to come, either because the story has been told, or the author dies, or whatever. ( Read more... )

Nothing new, really. Mostly because the back has not been forgiving. I wanted to go see Dralion in two weeks, but I've got some major expenses to take care of first, and by the time I finish with those, I won't be able to afford the tickets, even the $40 ones. The $150 dollar ones...I won't even mention those.

...my doctor the other day, he's now put me on a rapid-acting insulin "Apidra". It comes with a pen injector and the needle heads I use for the Lantus injector I can also use for the Apidra injector. I still am taking the metformin, but the gliclazide and the januvia have been stopped. After 2 days of using this new insulin, my sugars have ( Read more... )
