Thank you so much for this. It was beautifully written and I think very in-character. I'm dreading how the writers are trying to "push" these two together, when their friendship is so much more precious w/o turning it into another hook-up. I can totally see this playing out as two best friends who've just... well, taken two opposite journeys in order to survive. And I especially love that little mantra at the end... "I'm strong, I'm smart and capable... I can 'do' this." I absolutely love that. That's Caroline to me. My favorite vampire girl ever! lol. Thank you again. I so thoroughly enjoy all your work!
