This summer, I auditioned for a new theatre company. I was cast as one of five roles in a show coming up in mid-November. It’s both the smallest cast I’ve ever been part of and the largest role I’ve ever had. It’s kind of overwhelming, but it’s not stressing me out too much

Hope it goes well for you. My first headshot was taken by a maniac named Jack richburg... Who had apparently worked in Hollywood at one time. He liked me for some reason said I looked like Alan Hale but his typical method was to beratepeople and shout at them. I think my home theater finally stopped using him when he actually laid hands on a woman who had other ideas than he did about how she should be posing

What show are you doing? That seems like an awfully long time for rehearsals. For the one I'm in now we started in August and we go on next week (eeek!), I don't think I've ever had more than three months' worth.
Headshots always get to me as well. I'm usually a techie, and getting in front of a camera is actually scarier than getting on stage. Still, we do what we must.
I'm sure you'll end up looking lovely, whichever pictures you end up using!

I've heard of Nunsense! I have friend who did tech for that! I've never seen it, bit it sounds hilarious.

We're doing I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change. It's a whole lot of fun!

Although I am NOT photogenic, so I have significant and entrenched justification for being dissatisfied. ;)
