What show are you doing? That seems like an awfully long time for rehearsals. For the one I'm in now we started in August and we go on next week (eeek!), I don't think I've ever had more than three months' worth.
Headshots always get to me as well. I'm usually a techie, and getting in front of a camera is actually scarier than getting on stage. Still, we do what we must.
I'm sure you'll end up looking lovely, whichever pictures you end up using!

Although I am NOT photogenic, so I have significant and entrenched justification for being dissatisfied. ;)
