You've not had it before? Ack! Yes, I'll cross fingers and toes for you.
Hail in late spring or summer here tends to mean very severe thunderstorms with tornado risk involved. I hope that's not what your hailstorm is about. Definitely wishing you sunshine.
You know, it's scary that you mention tornado's... Normally I would have said, "Not in England, never heard of the things!", but there really was a tornado down in London a couple of months back. I remember seeing it on the news and thinking that the world had gone crazy. One whole street wiped out, with half standing buildings and everything...
I don't like the sound of that... For a start, there isn't enough room in the under stairs cupboard for us all... Brings a new urgency to turfing out the junk...
No. I'm thinking positive. There will be no tornado. There will be blazing sunshine, and glorious weather all round.
And no spotty itching...
I have had the Pox before... Twice! Once when I was little and a milder case when I was about 22. Terribly helpful lady on the helpline said that having it the once didn't rule out a second, milder case. Knowing my luck, I will be spotty by Wed...
No, if there were going to be, it would have accompanied the hail. In the event there ever is one, if the cupboard is a no-go and you don't have a basement, head for the bathroom and stay away from any windows. The pipes in the wall make it one of the safer places to be in either a tornado or an earthquake, or so I've read.
No spots! You've already had two cases, your immune system should be well-educated on how to kill this virus. She's right that it can happen, but it shouldn't.
What rotten timing! May the packing and all go exceedingly well for you then!
Oh, I hope you don't get it! I suppose it would be even worse if your husband hadn't got it before - isn't there something about adult males and sterility and complications?
As for proxy medicine - sporfle! I love your observation that panicked parents and scientifically accurate descriptions might not be mixy things.
Packing is driving me nuts! I can't find half the stuff I know we own, and the only explanation is that the washing machine must have eaten them
