Lucas and Asher have the whole. week. off.  I don't like it when Lucas and Asher have the whole week off. But there's nothing I can do about it. Asher and Lucas are slowly getting better. Lucas is back at school. Grandma is staying away because she doesn't want to get sick-or maybe because she preferred going to Tahoe for the day-so no babysitting of Asher for me today.

Yesterday, for breakfast, I made this recipe for Pumpkin Scones, which I nabbed off this blog. They were phenomenal! Try it.

I was more than a little preoccupied with my father's condition this year to give the usual amount of attention to Halloween. What's more, despite that I take upwards of 500 photos every month and have two camera batteries, my camera battery died and I couldn't find the spare on Halloween! Next Saturday is a giant fundraiser/festival at Lucas's school, Sacramento Waldorf School. It is the annual Harvest Faire and it is tons of fun.
