It's 9:45 and I am waiting for grandma to arrive to take Asher away for a couple of hours. Lucas is at morning camp. Today is the second day of summer vacation and I have sooooo much work to do and  all kinds of fear that I won't be able to get it all done because my day care is spotty at best. Oh thank you, sweetheart. I hope I didn't sound ungrateful. It was lovely seeing you yesterday and spending time with you and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Thanks for taking time out of your life to spend it with my kiddos. It means a lot to them and to me.

No, no, no! You didn't sound ungrateful at all. What you do is HARD and you do it so brilliantly. I really do wish I could be your nanny this week so you didn't have to worry. What I did was really rather selfish by forcing Asher to spend time with me, and it just happened to help you out! ;) Keep your beautiful head up, baby.

I may be able to help out here and there if this is something you would be interested it. I'm home all summer and with the exception of June 20-27 we don't have any set plans. Also Em would probably enjoy it considering she's an only child. We should talk.
