Righto. I just got approved for Rodimus Prime on Deadzone, so of course I made a few RP (which, in this case, stands for role-play or Rodimus Prime - they bth work!) icons to switch out between on the bboard. It does look quite good that way. I may have to change my picture to match! Looking back over them... while Marvel had some crap artists on the TF series from time to time, I really do like that they were allowed such variety and leeway in their artistic interpretations. It makes me realize just how... bad Dreamwave was, in some ways, for Transformers art. All those fancy, new-fangled coloring techniques, and yet they were restricted to only one style. It's kinda sad.

The art in G1 Marvel itself was all over the place.

And frankly? I'm finding I like that far better than the sameness of the Dreamwave era.

Yeah, everone drawing in the same style gets old fast. As long as they keep the character on-model, I'm all for variety in style.
