...I was hoping that "Trapezoid Fight II: Magog's Revenge" was a presentiment of "Geometry Wars", but it already existed at the time and I think I was just making fun of it.

However, the conversation about the "goblet controller" does call to mind one of the microgames in "WarioWare: Smooth Moves", in which you basically have to avoid Ted Stryker's drinking problem.
