I already told Hollis, but I'm really so sorry to hear of this. I remember him kind of, or I don't know if I ever met him, but I definitely remember hearing about him and how he did not tolerate garlic and was so smart and kind. I think you and he went to a play or a concert downtown once. I don’t remember what-he got free tickets to all kinds of things because he worked for the opera. I remember it because he said you dressed up. :D
Yes, he was allergic to garlic! Which is a very inconvenient thing to be allergic to. And yes, he was a very kind and generous man -- he spent lots of time arranging special things for people. Friends, strangers, you name it.
