I really, really enjoyed this. Such an interesting dilemma you set up with the 90 days of life, and I like that there wasn't a clear answer to it. I also like the ending, that there was some hope of getting part of Pro-One back, but not completely the way he was. Loved how Jared's knowledge of ed psych helped explain how Pro-One was learning, and Chad was absolutely awesome. Thanks so much for a great story!
Thanks! I always get extra squeeish when a writer I admire enjoys one of my stories. I did enjoy the sci-fi way of playing with ideas although I didn't really write a pure sci-fi. And thanks for pointing out Jared's education background and how that played into the story. He and Jensen were compatible in many ways and that was one of the ways I showed what Jared brought to the team.
And Chad? Yeah ... Chad is the hero of this story. :)

When I started reading it I thought that'd a usaul story abot Jensen becoming more and more humand and falling in love with Jared and then - happily ever after. When I saw Dr. Ackles I thought "No way, we can't have 2 of them here. Who would Jay choose?". And the you blew my mind out!Of course the romonce is good and well-written, but the true story is about friendship, learning to feel and to connect with people, to love and to be happy, to appriciate small wonders (like butterfly) in our life. The end was expected, yes, but man I still can't stop crying... Also your story is complete that even if I want more I can't think of any loose ends you didn't tie.

It's funny I thought that the banner pretty much gives away the human/non-human Jensen but I loved it so much I didn't care. But ... now that I read your comment it can also really easily represent what you first thought might happen -- a robot slowly becoming more human. So really, it doesn't spoil!
The story really is a buddy movie with a romance snuck in. I'm glad that's how you took it. Chad is my hero in this. Who taught everyone about friendship.
Yeah, now I can see that the banner is true to story but then I thought may it's a prototype and a robot only the story wouldn't be about the prototype (like: "Here's the photo of the man I was made after, Jared. Kiss me now?").
You Chad is amazing, usually here's just a douchbag, but made him real.
Exquisite, juet exquisite. You made me cry so much during this story especially when I found that pro-one was going to die, it was heartbreaking. You created an amazing story here, it made me laugh in parts, cry a lot but also have hope. I loved how Chad became so protective of pro-one and how quickly their friendship formed into something very strong, he was a hero in my eyes making sure pro-one's list was fulfilled and how he couldn't be around for the final part but he knew he new friend understood. I'm really glad that Jared found love with Jensen, I would have been devestated if they didn't end up together after all they had been through. I wanted to kick Misha's ass from here to China but thankfully he didn't get to kill pro-one before his time. I will be going over to the art post soon but it just simply blew me away. Thank you so much for writing this, it was such an honour to read. I downloaded the pdf because I will always come back to read because of how strongly it effected me. *hugs*
