Would that be another sign of the robot’s malfunctioning if he started cursing in front of his superiors? Though, to his credit, Jensen was using profanity appropriately.
Appropriate use of foul language. Oh my gosh, too funny. And Jared’s censoring his inner thoughts so as not to have a foul mouthed robot. Secondly, hee hee, Jared had two strange/awkward meetings with hot guys in as many days. Well, granted, one was a robot… but still.
And, okay, seriously, I have never read a better car chase scene. Oh man, I was waiting for a bone crunching accident to happen. Although there was the minivan hitting a parked car, and a sideswipe, oh and the garbage dumpster, and, of course, Jared winning a round with his windshield - dang, that’s one heck of an action packed sequence! Very well written.
And I just have to quote this (another LOL moment):
“Yes, it hurts!” Jensen yelled. Jared could hear the unsaid, ‘you moron.’ Had a couple hours with Chad’s snarking rubbed off on the robot, already? And, oh man, I already love Jared
( ... )
Thanks once more. I have to credit my beta, borgmama1of5 for the car chases though -- as she penned them for me. I edited a bit but they are hers. We exchange emotional scenes for action scenes :) Actually the Chad 'snark' comment was one of her great adds as well. I get credit for taking a great edit when I see one!
Rest of it is mine, though :) and I'm so happy you continue to enjoy it and find it engaging. Chad is coming across as intended and that's great. He's the hero of this one. And his relationship with Pro-One is special.
Thanks. I know the art is slightly spoilery in the double Jensen regard. But it's so beautiful. I could stare at it forever. Thanks for pointing out the funny lines that worked for you. I'm always very insecure about my ability to write humor. I don't think as myself as funny. So it means a lot! I look forward to your thoughts on the story's conclusion.
" I'm always very insecure about my ability to write humor" Oh! don't be, there are a lot of funny lines that make me laughed a lot, you totally can write drama and comedy hey! and mixed not anybody and you totally did it your story is AMAZING...
Jensen didn't want Jared to get involoved and was trying to be self sacrificing....awwwww. Jared censoring his inner dialogue was quite cute, he didn't want to corrupt the robot lol. I definitely liked the car scene, though right after it when Jensen asks for a first aid kit and Jared says "I have a toolbox somewhere if that'll help", I'm not gonna lie...I still thought it was jRobot...good storyline, I'm excited to read more.
Hee. I had some help with the chase scenes from my fabulous beta who is a good writer herself. She writes SPN gen stories. And wrote one gen J2 for me. She'll read slash but says she can't write it. I'm glad you didn't catch on to human Jensen too soon. Most don't. The illustration sort of gives it away but you have to study it very closely. One of the two Jensen's has slight whiskers and freckles and the other doesn't. Their eyes are slightly different, too.

hehe when Jensen said “Move over, idiot!” to Jared, Jared must have thought: wow the robot is getting more and more rude lol.
Jared:“You smell.” Jensen:“Excuse me?” LOL
"I borrowed your name.” He took a step closer to Jared and moved slightly behind him. “Will I be terminated now?” Oww Jensen, I mean robo one
this is getting more exciting every minute
