OT: Meet Cassie!

I'm thrilled to introduce the newest member of my family, a baby girl yellow lab named after our favorite Hankan, Cassie (well the jury is still out on the name, but Cassie is the front runner and the decision will be made by tomorrow). you did not want to smell her coming out of that crate! she got a bath as soon as she got home and now smells like Johnson and Johnson's Baby Shampoo!!

i'm fairly certain they were all intentional!! but stuck in a crate for ten hours is going to do that to you!

the best information that we know is that they were originally about an hour and a half from the Lexington Airport. Poor baby had to fly from Lexington to Dallas and then back to Maryland!

She was tired! She had just gotten out of her crate, which she had been in for at least ten hours and two plane rides! A quick nap on my lap home, a little food and water when we got there, (and a bath, because, well, after ten hours in the same crate *peewwww*) she was up and eating my mother's shoelaces!

thus far: times she tried to eat through the baby gate: 4; times she tried to eat through my hand keeping her from eating the baby gate: 6; shoelaces attacked: 3; times she touched the puppy toy: 0; number of baths todate: 1. Yeah, she's going to be a handful!
