What a happy, comfortable puppy! I love the food in Chicago-I love Pizza Uno (although it's been years since I ate there, I hope it's still good. I live in a place that thinks that deep dish pizza is pizza with a really thick crust, not a pizza with an astonishing amount of cheese and toppings. Then there's that little place downtown under the tracks that serves pastrami sandwiches-I think it's kind of famous... Food in Chicago is GOOD!

I'm ambivalent about Chicago food, mostly because I don't get to experience much... our group meals were boston market and Panera (and those were the good meals) and I have this strange thing about pizza... my sister tortured me with it a few years ago, and I just can't stomach the smell of greasy cheese--so no awesome chicago pizza. On rare occasions I suck it up and get some, usually from a NY style shop down the street that is very un-greasy. Pizzaria Uno is a huge chain down here, and there's a restaurant in every major city in my area here in DC. Their pastas are awesome though!

My favorite place in Chicago is Portillos, which is known for their beef and massive hotdogs. yummm... protein...
