Wherever his Master went, so would he go. Most of the time. But lazing about in his coffin did little to alleviate his boredom, mostly because of the dreams that assailed him there. So, when Integra set off on her "shopping trip", the Midian swirled into shadow and followed at a distance, moving from blackness to blackness.

Normally he loathed the sunlight, but since the day was overcast, he could stomach the scant light that daylight provided. Although he kept a close eye on his young Master, the Midian also kept watch for the Paladin or his Iscariot leash-holder, for either of them would provide no end of amusement.

And he could use a great deal of it.

The young girl wasn't having any luck in her search about the history of this place, as if it had sprung up out of nowhere to hold them all. How ridiculous, she refused to believe that there was no way out of this place. Exiting the bookstore and the mall in general, the girl was a little bit irritated and it showed. She managed to keep from stomping about and from throwing a tantrum. She was raised better than that, Integra knew that she had to at least look calm and collected, and that helped in calming her mind as well.

First was first, since books were not going to help, she would need to find another source. Diciding to take a break for a moment and think about her next plan of action, the girl sat herself on a bench, resisted the urge to shiver as the wind ruffled at her hair and her skirt. It only took her a moment longer to realize Alucard was following her, and Integra pulled herself away from what she was doing for a brief moment, attempting to see if she could locate the Vampire.

The massive hellhound absently shambled from the corner and plopped itself on its haunches right atop the little girl's feet, long tongue lolling from gaping jaws as it panted lightly.

Alucard loathed any sort of daylight, so he merely shoved himself into this wonderfully doggish form and emerged from the cover of darkness. Six red eyes watched the surroundings carefully; anyone even attempting to approach his master would find their throats missing.

Integra let out a annoyed huff as the Hellhound oh so cheekily sat himself down on her feet, but there was a flicker of amusement in her eyes even though she acted otherwise. She leaned forward and rested one elbow on her knee, her fingers soon finding itself absently buried in his fur near his withers, petting along slowly as they young girl sorted out her thoughts.

Maybe if she found an older building, something of historic value? If this place had a church perhaps, or some other structure that was built a long time ago. It would have information on it, and hopefully in turn more about Salkia in itself.

Surely there would be some information about this place somewhere. He wasn't about to stay inside in his room when there were still things to be learned about this place. If Abel was to be trapped here, he wanted to know everything he could about this godforsaken spit of rock in the middle of the ocean.

Other bookstores usually had a history section, right? Surely this one wouldn't be different, would it?

Apparently, it was. Hunting through the selection, while big on almost everything else... was completely lacking in the one thing that he wanted the most. The boy gave a disgusted sigh, folding his arms over his chest and glaring at the rows of books before him as if he could will a complete writing on the history of this place into reality from the land of dreams.

Turning sharply, he rounded a corner... And stopped just barely scant inches away from slamming into another patron of the store. "Hey!" .. Well, it wasn't her fault...

The girl stopped in her tracks, just avoiding being run into by another kid, likely close to her age. Was this Island filled with children for a reason? Every other person she seemed to meet was barely older than herself. She kept back a frown that threatened to show on her face, temper already quirked due to not being able to find what she wanted about this place either.

"You are excused." The young Hellsing said absently of the other, her offhanded tone (which she was getting very good at.) brushing the incident off almost insultingly as she stepped around the other, still determined in her mission and not giving the other a second thought. There had to something she could read about this place around here!
