What happened in the book?
It's a little part from the book (Shikkoku no Tsuki no Utage), which concludes the 'Sa Province' story line.
It's Sakujun's 'death' scene in the book. The part the anime skipped. (Sorry for the mistakes, grammatical and otherwise.)
Sakujun sighed.
He thought, when he dies, he will just go, without any regrets. Having done everything he wanted to do, and getting bored by everything, suddenly one day, will run out of any motivations to keep on living.
But look what happened.
