Hey look who is making a return everyone! Why it is none other than Mr. Maximillion Pegasus, creator of the insanely popular card game capable of destroying the world known as Duel Monsters. Also known as the guy everyone in his verse that is anyone loves to hate. Geeze, you steal a few souls and everyone hates you for life. It was a mistake people! Get over it! At least it was only three souls compared to the millions of souls gathered by a certain King of Atlantis. Digressing, digressing. You can all relax now. He isn't here to steal souls and force people to duel him.
Seating himself beside a table and setting down a thick binder filled with cards he makes himself comfortable with a glass of wine. Not to worry, he isn't drunk, and it isn't likely that he will be anytime soon. Woohoo for alcohol tolerance! Ahem... Quietly he looks out over the Nexus.
"It was brought to my attention by a certain member of my staff that I have fallen behind on my annual quota for giving out free cards. You see with everything that has been going on I have not had the time to properly pay attention to the tournaments. After all, most of the recent ones have been hosted by my dear friend Kaiba Boy and I am not allowed any where near them." He sneers when he mentions Seto Kaiba, as though he isn't quite sure whether he should be amused or annoyed. "It just so happens that I was .. incapacitated during the last American tournament. So, I have decided that I will make up for lost time and offer you good people one free card each. All you have to do is answer a simple question:
What are some of your favorite things? Elements, stories, animals, places to go.. you get the idea."
It really is just that simple. Answer the question and he'll give you a free card. No purchase necessary. Really! Would he lie to you? ... Maybe that is best left unanswered...

This is Pegasus that we are talking about! He doesn't just give out free stuff without there being a catch! Old habits die hard and besides... He was bored.
