I shouldn't love these boys as much as I do and I lay the blame for this entire at your feet. YOOOOOOU did this to me! *points accusingly*

Poor Jay. There's just so much that the family screwed up with with him. And to have the trauma compounded by having all of that 'experience' taken away. God...just...GUH. It's just a given that Jay takes those scars as badges along the journey. I can't imagine how much worse that had to make all of it. Jesus, nothing is his own to keep, is it? *wibbles*

Oh, Dick! Dick, you are just so incredibly... you. XD Every family has an incurable optimist and Mr. Richard Grayson is bar none. God help us, but that's half the reason he's Golden Boy.

Poor Jay is right. *pets him* There are times when I think, as much as I hurt him in fic, it's still better than what he gets in canon. And that's just SAD. Poor guy should at least have gotten to keep *something* to mark all he's been through.

And yes, Dick, the ever-incurable optimist. *pets him, too* I was almost worried that this piece might sound flippant b/c Dick is such an optimist. But hey, that's just how he rolls, silly boy. :p

I enjoyed all three of these stories. Dick and Jason's relationship is so wonderfully complex, and you did a great job capturing their voices. I particularly like this story, because Dick really listens to what Jason's saying. I don't think the other Bats do that, they're too wrapped up in their own issues. But it's late, and I ramble. I just really wanted to say hanks for sharing. :)

Thank you so much! :) I'm so glad I managed to capture both boys right (Dick's sort of been my nemesis in fic :p). And I really needed Dick to be on Jason's side, no matter what, so I'm glad that worked.
