“Come on, Kazu! We’ll be late! It’s your first day back in work, do you wanna be late?” Sho asked impatiently.
The rapper stood in the entrance packed with both, his and Nino’s bags, holding Naoki’s carrier and waited impatiently for minutes already for his lover to get ready. Nino was running around in the apartment checking for the nth time if they had everything they could need during the day.
“Kazu?” Sho asked again loudly when he didn’t get an answer. “You know that we have dance practice in 40, right? But if we’re late from practice, that man will prolong it just because he can and you’ll be late from your recording too!... Also it will cut your free-time which I’m sure you wanted to spend with the boys…” the rapper added, thinking Nino would find it a stronger reasoning.
And he was right again…
“I’m ready!” the gamer replied.
Squarely Sho, he preferred to carry Shouta tied against his chest. Also the bag with the twins stuff hung from his shoulder. Nursing bottles, stuffed animals and other stuff stinking out of it.
“I’m ready, no need to shout like that, Sho-chan, you’re scaring Naoki…” he said pouting as he slipped his shoes on. “Aren’t we late from somewhere? You were really impatient just ten seconds ago” Nino said pushing on Sho’s shoulder to urge him toward the door.
“Hai, hai…” Sho rolled his eyes but obeyed with an understanding smile…
“Kazu? Are you anxious?” Sho asked watching his lover through the rear-view mirror.
Nino sat on the back with the babies. He was fidgeting non-stop and adjusting the blanket covering the babies and such. And if that wouldn’t be enough, he literally jumped when Sho accosted him.
“What?...” he blinked at his husband, his mind processing Sho’s words slower than usually. “Anxious? No! Why do you think that?...” he asked looking out the window.
Sho chuckled.
“You’re so cute…” he whispered and turned his full attention back to the road…
“Hey, hey, where are you going?” Nino asked when they got into the elevator. “Our green room’s on the 16’s floor. Not on the 19’s!” the gamer said.
“Oh, did I not mention it?” Sho blinked at him with fake-innocence painted all over his face. “We’ve been moved…”
“We’ve been moved?” Nino echoed his words then gasped. “You did it on purpose!” he accused.
“You noticed?” the rapper grinned back at him shamelessly.
“You’re outrageous, Sakurai Sho!” Nino gasped some more. “Keeping it secret from me!” he pouted.
Sho laughed and pecked Nino’s lips quickly above Shouta's head before the elevator stopped at their floor and they got out.
“And for my defense I didn’t keep it a secret for any hideous reasons. I just wanted to surprise you…” he said as he led the gamer to Arashi’s new green room.
“You hear that, my darling? He just wanted to surprise us!” Nino cooed to Shouta hopping the baby who looked up at him with drooly face. “Aww, look there, someone’s a little messy!...” he cooed pulling out a handkerchief from his pocket to wipe the baby’s face clean.
Sho smiled at them as he stopped.
“We’re here” he said and opened the door.
“Okaeri nasai!”
Ohno, Aiba and Jun stood in the middle of the new green room. The taller men popped some crackers while their leader just smiled softly at the couple in the door with Aya in his arms.
“Nino nii-chan!” the little girl squealed delighted at the sight of his long time not seen uncle.
“Look! It's a lot bigger and we even have a child-corner too!” Aiba said pointing at the said corner of the room where fence ringed a fluffy carpeted part with some toys and stuffed animals scattered there.
“Aww, guys…” Nino breathed out with teary eyes.
“Just admit that you missed us, brat!” Jun mocked him grinning.
“I missed you” Nino admitted proudly without missing a heart-beat and it kind of confused and snubbed the HanaDan star.
Nino grinned back at the younger singer.
“Welcome back, we missed you too, Kazu” Ohno said smiling at his friend.
“Tadaima…” Nino said finally and all five of them started to laugh at this.
Arashi was finally complete again…
