Yippee, the new adventures of Robin and Guy are here!

I love your fic, rusty_armour! It has the right mix of adventure and humor. And I really enjoyed the "dragon".

It took me long enough! *g* I'm glad you were happy to see some more adventures of Robin and Guy, our favourite medieval odd couple. :-)

Ah, thank you, raven714! That's so kind of you to say! :-D I think I sometimes lean more heavily on the humour than I should, but I just can't seem to help it. Of course, RoS has quite a lot of humour, so maybe it's fitting. Anywaaaaaay, I'm happy that the mix of adventure and humour works for you. :-)

Well, I love Robin and Guy, so I love their adventures too. :-)

And the humor was what I needed now. I'm not feeling well lately and I think I'm getting a Christmas depression.
I didn't give much to my art work, I have no energy or inspiration. But I am already thinking about cover art for your fic. :-)

I'm happy that I'm able to provide you with some adventures for these characters you love. :-D it's a lot of fun writing scenes with the two of them, especially when they're sharing in some banter.

And the humor was what I needed now. I'm not feeling well lately and I think I'm getting a Christmas depression.

I'm glad the humour helped. I'm sorry that you haven't been feeling well and have been experiencing some Christmas depression. This can be such a hard time of year, especially if you're not in a great place in your life or you're feeling lonely. I know it doesn't always help, but I hope you know that your friends love and support you. Please feel free to PM me on Facebook if you do need to talk. :-)

It's hard to be creative and artistic when you're lacking energy and/or inspiration. You're better to focus on your artwork again when you're feeling better.

But I am already thinking about ( ... )

Oh! OHHHH! I'm overwhelmed.

Thank you very much - lovely Christmas present.

I've read it, and will be posting some more detailed comments on AO3. But I will say one thing here - I can absolutely 'see' this as a tv/dvd episode. It has the proper Carpenter-esque shape and pacing (also parts for 'guest artists' ... I'm pondering this one!)

Once again, thank you for such an accomplished, funny and straight-up beautiful present.

Thank you very much - lovely Christmas present.

Considering the great kindness that you've shown me over the last couple of years (not that you weren't kind before that), I think this is the least I could do. :-D I'm just sorry that I couldn't get it to you sooner. This fic ended up being more complicated than I'd anticipated. I mean, it's got footnotes for Herne's sake. Of course, as this is a story for you, the footnotes seem fitting somehow -- not that my footnotes could ever compete with yours! *g*

I've read it, and will be posting some more detailed comments on AO3.

Any comments (detailed or not), would be very much appreciated! I know it's a busy time of year, so there's no rush for feedback. I'm just grateful that you're willing to comment. :-)

After that comment, I think you've done your feedback duty ( ... )

Hi again, rusty_armour.

I want to send you some of my reactions to your beautiful fanfiction.

Even Gisburne, who was unaccustomed to such work, seemed more relaxed. Loxley thought that even a man like Gisburne could appreciate such necessities as food and shelter, especially after those two nights they had spent in a cold, cramped cave near the Loire. - Certainly, I would also appreciate the food and the roof over my head - and not just in winter.

Gisburne had been in the woods chopping wood with some of the villagers. - Well, he already has some practice with ax and wood chopping (Lord of the Trees) :-D

Gisburne was bent over double, hands on his knees, trying to catch his breath. - So probably like me, after I ran for the bus. :-D

Gisburne leaned on the fence as if he was in dire need of its support. “A-a dragon. I saw a dragon.” - Yay, dragon! grondfic will like it.

“Guy,” Loxley said, “you do realize that what you’re saying is utterly ridiculous, don’t you?”
“I saw it.”
“A dragon?”
“Yes!” :-D

Yes, it has to be hard camping out in the woods and relying on caves for shelter -- whether it's winter or not. While life on a medieval farm wouldn't be easy, they'd be better sheltered and fed most of the time. Having Loxley and Gisburne live and work on a farm during the winter made the most sense to me.

Hi again, rusty_armour.
I see I didn't respond to your comment. I am sorry for that. I certainly wanted to, but I wasn't well and then I forgot.

I guess Gisburne's knowledge of dragons is pretty limited. You'd think he'd know more about them being a knight and all. - Guy only knows Welsh Green dragon and maybe Hebridean Black dragon. :-D

I'm not sure why Loxley was so skeptical after Gisburne was able to provide such compelling evidence. ;-)
- Loxley thinks: "God knows what he saw. He's a totally unreliable witness."

"And don’t ask me if it might have been a snake because the tail was barbed.” - Hmm, that it would be Hungarian Horntail dragon? Or maybe a dinosaur. :-D

Guy needs all the help he can get! - You´re right. Would Guy like the Rorschach test? :-D
