Huh! The "hey get up and move!" alarm sounds great. I want to do that, I try to do that, but I know when I get lost in some computer task, the hours just slip away... Another reason I need a fitbit.
Good luck with Sam! I hope he has many good days left!
The "get up and move" alarm is wonderful. I also tend to lose time when I'm caught up in a task and can lose hours at a time. Even after a few days I'm already feeling more energetic and alert while I work.

Thank you very much. He has shown such a remarkable improvement on the new meds that I'm hopeful we will have many more good days with him.
I'm so sorry to hear about Sam, but I'm glad the pain meds are working and he's still getting to have days where he's his old playful self.
I've been considering getting a Fitbit for awhile, and hearing that there's a feature that'll vibrate to remind you to move once an hour seems like a huge plus. I may have to stop considering and just buy it already.
Thank you! I am very happy with the new meds and the improvement they have made for him. I am trying to accept that the time is coming when I will have to say goodbye, but it is a relief to know that it isn't here yet.
The hourly alarm on the Fitbit really is a wonderful thing. I have found that I am much more alert and energetic at work when I get up and walk around every hour or so, instead of losing hours at a time sitting in front of my computer. Plus the health benefits are already apparent -- I don't feel like snacking so much throughout the day!
