Winter, Yay!

I actually felt the need to put a blanket on my bed last night while I slept, which was lovely. I love cold weather, although most of the time it's more like a vague memory of cold weather from when I used to live on the east coast. I haven't seen snow since I was 9. And heading into summer... I'm just glad for my AC. It's 40C in Queensland today! Bletch.

Isn't it terrible??? I was 14 when I left new York, so at least my memories of snow are more recent than yours. Although I'm not sure that's a good thing, now that I think about it. If I could forget it ever existed, maybe I wouldn't miss it so terribly! :(

I keep telling myself now that my son's gone off to college this past fall, I'm no longer tied down here. I can do whatever I want, go wherever I want, move wherever I want. It's a new thought for me.
