Wow. Just... wow.

That is just lovely; you've got a gift with words I didn't realise you had. *goes back to read again*

Thank you. I guess I just wasn't sure how to react to what she said because she DID put it as more of a choice between the two. I think what I really need to do is, as you say, keep my options open and not limit myself.

I so admire the way you can put your thoughts about everyday life into poetry. It's a very rare talent to do it and do it well.

Having said that, you don't have to choose your entire life path when you're 22. You can, of course, but so many people have two or three or four careers during their lifespan. There's no reason you have to decide *right now*. And anyway, you can teach and write at the same time. Of course, it's harder to make time when you're doing both, but you kind of have to do both anyway because writing never pays much at first regardless if it's fiction or non-. Just do what you feel is right for you at the time and the rest will work itself out. Sometimes it won't seem like it, but it will.

*blushes madly* I'm glad that I put it on my list of 101 Things because that's the only reason I did it. And to think I used to hate poetry. Thanks for the praise - it means a lot, especially coming from you.

And thanks for the advice. I don't know what to decide at the moment, so I shouldn't, but I still find myself panicing because not everything is planned out. My poor anal-compulsive heart.
