It attempts to right itself, but falls on its backside, the knife finally freeing from it’s covering, and sliding across the floor. [There is a sight that Vash very much had wished never to see again. He freezes in his tracks at the once familiar figure and stares, every muscle tense. When he speaks it's from a considerable distance away; the plague is one of those things that will haunt his nightmares until his death.]

[The masked figure jumps, not very high as the person seemed to be rather short. It's head flicks from side to side to see who was talking. A gloved hand fumbled for a knife, or a gun, anything to protect itself. This place was spooky, and unfamiliar, and the person in the suit didn't like it]

[Vash holds up his hands to show they are empty as he strides a few steps closer so that the other can see him clearly, but his every motion is tense with the suppressed urge to flee. Very few things can scare the country like what this being represents.]

She waves slightly, a hand being placed on her gun as a warning, telling him not to try anything funny.]

The person's head tilted to the side, last they remembered the plague was before they were born, they didn't understand]

[Extra puffs of smoke come from the mask, and the person in it tugs on a tube running from the side. They didn't know how else to tell the stranger that it was a breathing apparatus]

Whooooaaaa, I have no idea uhhh, what you are but you look really cool! [He looks over the creature inquisitively, awaiting for it to speak. If it doesn't he might to to commune...just to talk, of course.]

[OOC: Tavros will want to try and create a mental link, it's your choice if it works or not! I don't like to push anything. He'll speak to it mentally but if it doesn't work just don't respond with speech.]

[Oh, that watch again, it was so weird that people were talking through it. Oh, and another man with horns, and this one was grey, it wondered for a moment just what they were doing to people in this place. It takes a good long moment for it to register the complement, before looking about, wondering how to react to it.]

[OOC: She is plenty susceptible to mental communication. She isn't much used to hearing other people in her mind, but it's almost second nature for her to respond without talking, so it should be fine]

[Well these videos were weird, but she was getting used to them. She nods in thanks to his welcome, the beak accidentally knocking the watch down. She runs after the silly thing]
