[For his part, Ed was about as ready as he'd ever be. He was all dressed up, and he'd spent the last who even knows how long anxiously pacing the floor. Which was ridiculous, because this wasn't even anything outside of him letting Rikku get this out of her system.

But then there was Al to worry about. And Hughes. He would never hear the end of this if they got their way. He was just hoping he'd get to the door faster than Al could once Rikku got there.

Speaking of which, there was the proverbial knock on the door. And Ed was on it in an instant, all but throwing the door open with an altogether too bright grin.]

Hey! There you are! Took you long enough to find your way-- C'mon, let's go! Right now!

[Rikku took just a split second to take in his outfit; he actually looked very nice. She grinned, putting her and on the door-frame to block his way.]
