Long time, no post, eh? There are many things I could post about, some cheerful, some frustrating, some confusing, some amusing, some infuriating, but the number of choices after this long a break are overwhelming. Therefore, I'm going to write a post I've been meaning to write for a while ( Read more... )

I just wanna say that I always enjoy reading your posts because you always make them long and interesting. In fact, I was meaning to comment on your sexist rant but still haven't gotten to that...

It's funny how we have the ability to emphathize but it gets to a point where we just can't always emphathize all of the time and it just comes out wrong. But in that boy's case he was just being selfish. That's what too much online gaming does to you... it's just way too addicting for anyone.

I'm probably terrible at saying this but if it's any consolation from someone I hope you can find other people who are more understanding of IH... and not just talk to people about it that are douchebags and end up undermining it.

Um. I'd like to say that I have no clue what it's like to be sleepy all the time, or be a night person, or fall asleep in class, or break up with your boyfriend. Just to get that clear. I have absolutely no empathy in this matter. You'll have to suffer alone.

:P

on linking experiences with our experiences . . .

When you say "I'm sleepy when I drive," people talk about times they've driven when they're sleepy.

When I say, "I go to school in Scotland," people say, "Yeah, I went abroad once. There was this time in Italy . . ."

When one says, "I like cheese pizza," people say, "Yeah, cheese is good, but I like it a lot better with meat, you know? I used to be in pizza eating contests and . . ."

I guess the rule is: people like talking about themselves.

Note: "I guess." This is my opinion. MINE. I hold it. This person typing. Me.
