I did see the Bourdain/Narnia crossover... it was funny but as I haven't seen any of Bourdain's show (comes with never having cable tv in my life) I think I missed some of the inside jokes. I was really hoping to see "Fannie's Last Supper" but am wondering if my local PBS station never aired it or I have somehow missed it. (History and food is a wonderful combination for a tv series ( ... )

Oh, I'm very grateful for all the favs and things, even without the commentary, though as I've said, I really value the friends made along the way so I always feel like I'm missing out on an opportunity to meet someone cool. I've seen him in "Dorian Gray"... it was a grim and appropriately grey movie. :-) But if you're looking for more of his wardrobe choices, have you seen "Easy Virtue"? (Trailer here.) His character is a bit reminiscent of Prince Caspian... young, naive and doesn't quite understand his responsibilities in the world. Heh.

I fear that if I watch Easy Virtue, I shall begin down a path heretofore reserved for Ewan McGregor and Harrison Ford.

May next year be better than the last, as the Counting Crows say.

And good on ya for the running: 6 miles at a stretch is great! Right now I'm only doing 3, and it's time to get back to the climbing more regularly.

We have a treadmill in the basement and I'm finding that I can usually find something to hold my TV interest for an hour to 90 minutes. Gawd, old age sucks and it bit me hard this year.

Have a very happy New Year and thank you for all the contributions you have made to our little worlds of fiction over the year, your unwavering support, and your dreaded fear of VISUALS (which still makes me giggle).
