Okay, technically my birthday isn't until tomorrow and I'm not promising anything until Sunday, but that's not as catchy a title. Oh, this is so lovely! I've been enjoying domestic fic so much lately. ♥ ♥ ♥ This is a great little window into their family, and you've made it solid enough in just a few words that I feel like this family is carrying on past the story, just out of sight.

"Well fuck you too!" Gabe snapped his phone shut and kicked the wall. Motherfucking assholes.

"Problem?" Mike Carden was leaning against a wall, one leg bent at the knee, sole of his foot on the wall, cigarette in one hand and a beer in the other.

"My fucking band. They took off without me." Gabe wavered, but didn't ask if he could have some of the beer. Everything was falling apart around him, but he was still hanging on to at least some of his ideals.

"We're going the same place. We can give you a ride."

"You sure your band won't mind?"

"Dude," Mike said with a grin, "you're Gabe Saporta of Midtown. Bill wants to have your babies ( ... )

Sean turns on the nights of the full moon. It's not like it is in storybooks or bad horror movies, where he rampages the countryside. He just becomes a wolf. He's more inclined to run, those nights, or to snarl at anything that comes close to Tom. (It's not an empty phrase. Tom's come with him to wolf gatherings, and while most wolves know better, Sean had to put himself between some of them and Tom, to keep them away from her.) He lets people - some people - get close ever since Tom bopped him on the nose after he growled at Max.

Sean wakes up human, naked, and alone. He panics, then stills, listens. He can hear Tom's breathing, even in sleep. If he stretches, he can smell her, the real scent, not just the echos that hang around the spaces she inhabits ( ... )
