Gotta vent. I woke up this morning to a snowstorm. Joy. Didn't want to take 2 buses to get to work for 8:30 so called a cab at 7 a.m. to get here for 8 a.m. Now? It's 8:27 and NO FUCKING CAB. So I called the company, who said he'd be here "soon". I complained and the smug bitch on the other end of the phone told me that with the weather like this

Good heavens indeed! I'm in the Canadian prairies, and while we're known for our snow, it's never this early. Thankfully it's melting just as fast as it's hitting the ground...

*snickers* Poor Canada. I swear, we normally have great weather. This year's sucked pretty hard, but usually.... *sighs* At least it's all melting.

Manager guy didn't call me back. But that's okay. Because I'll call tomorrow. And the next day. And the next day, until someone talks to me. I'm patient (and persistent) that way ;)
